Hui Ling Loh , M.A, B.C.B.A. is ABC Center’s Behavior Therapist/Clinical Administrator. Ms. Hui Ling Loh is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, one of the very few who are in Asia. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism and Organizational Behavior Management from Western Michigan University. When Ms. Loh joined Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. (ABC), she worked with children diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities, and supervising other behavior consultants and ensuring the quality of clients’ program. As the Site Administrator/ Senior Behavior Analyst in ABC Center Singapore, she now oversees the clinical operation of the center including supervising and training of behavior technicians and behavior analysts, conducting assessments, creating and troubleshooting lessons and behavior plans, providing parent training through teaching of ABA techniques to ensure generalization process continues at home. Ms. Loh has provided international consultation in China and Bahrain and presented on the topic “Effectively Managing Behavior Excesses” for the 2nd International Conference “Untangle Autism 2009” at Bahrain.
Mari Ueda-Tao, M.A., B.C.B.A is in charge of ABC International Liaison. Ms. Ueda-Tao holds a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavior Analysis from the University of the Pacific, Stockton , CA . She is currently Regional Director in Sacramento, California. She heads the Community Services and Infant/Toddler Programs at ABC, USA, Inc., and is responsible for in-home behavioral assessments and developing behavior intervention plans for children and adults with developmental disabilities, specializing in the treatment of Autism. In addition, Ms. Ueda-Tao has conducted training sessions on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including Positive Programming for Parents, skill teaching techniques, and in-home behavior intervention strategies. She has experience in clinically supervising numerous behavior consultants, specializing in early, intensive intervention techniques, including comprehensive work with infant/toddler age ranges. Ms. Ueda-Tao is a member of the national and state-levels of the Association for Behavior Analysis. Internationally, she has trained a number of teachers and parents on the implementation of ABA principles with children with Autism in Algeria , Bahrain , France , Iceland , Portugal , and Romania .
Kristine Gomez is ABC Center Philippines Behavior Analyst. She has a Bachelor of Science Psychology degree from the University of Santo Tomas (cum laude), and Master in Special Education degree from the University of the Philippines (research grant awardee). She is currently taking courses in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology. Initially, she worked for national and international companies in the fields of psychometrics, instructional materials development, and project management, before following her childhood passion: teaching. Prior to joining ABC, she has several years of experience in working with children with developmental delays, in a center supervised by University of the Philippines faculty.
Hyen Yu Kwek or “Xian” is ABC Center Philippines’ Behavior Analyst. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who holds a Master of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology from Singapore Management University. She used to be a Behavior Technician at ABC Center Singapore, providing ABA-based therapy services to children on the autism spectrum. It was during this time that, she learnt the importance of tailoring therapy approaches to meet the learning needs of the clients she worked with. She believes that every child deserves a chance to explore and attain their own potential. While studying in the US, she did a year-long internship at a private school especially for children with multiple disabilities or special learning needs where her responsibilities include providing behavioral support and consultancy services, as well as conducting trainings for new teachers at the school. Upon graduation from her Master’s program, she returned to ABC Center. Xian is passionate about her work with children with special needs and finds it extremely fulfilling to work hand-in-hand with their families and teach staff to help these children reach their fullest potential.
Farah Alsagoff is ABC Center Philippines Behavior Analyst. She received her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with focus on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from the University of Kent in the UK where she graduated with First Class Honors. She is currently pursuing her certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Prior to pursuing her degree, Farah worked with an autism center in Malaysia that provides early intervention care services to low income families. She joined Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. (ABC) as a Behavior Analyst, working with children diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities. Her work has allowed her to conduct a number of assessments and she has been developing and troubleshooting lessons and behavior plans while supervising and training behavior technicians. She has likewise facilitated parent trainings by teaching ABA techniques to ensure generalization of skills into the home environment.
Ronald Gonzalo is ABC Center Philippines’ Lead Behavior Technician. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of the Philippines and is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Special Education from the same institution. He acquired his license as a Professional Educator in 2008 and is also a Registered Behavior Technician since January 2015. As an older brother to a boy with Autism, Ron has first-hand experience in numerous special needs interventions and has been exposed to several support groups advocating the rights of children with disabilities. He believes compassion and support from families and care specialists play a huge role in shaping the lives of children with special needs.
Kathleen Castillo is ABC Center Philippines Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Santo Tomas. She also finished post graduate studies in Human Resources Management from the De La Salle University-College of Saint Benilde and is currently in the process of completing the final paper for her Master in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Before joining ABC Center Philippines, she was Human Resources Manager in corporations belonging to different industries with the most recent being one of the top petroleum companies in the country. In her free time, Kathleen volunteers in her local community’s initiatives and programs supporting children’s education and health.
Lilibeth Tan is a Director of ABC Center. She is a U.S. licensed music and movement teacher with years of experience in teaching children, especially toddlers and pre-school aged children. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She has a deep passion in reaching out and helping children with autism because she herself is a mother of a special child. She deeply understands the dilemma of a parent of a special child. She has navigated through many different programs that are offered , one of which was Applied Behavior Analysis. With her at the helm, ABC Center has articulated its core value of ‘The needs of the child should always come first!’. Her goal is to share the benefits of ABA to as many parents of children with Autism, and help them attain the dream of unlocking the full potential in their children, in the same way that it has for her own child.
